Cats + grass

When we attended my friend Olivia's birthday she gave us a little planter with grass seed in it and I have been watching it grow into a nice pile of grass. The other day I noticed that it was getting quite long and so mummy decided it was time we fed it to Sassy our cat. She really likes to eat grass, and it's suppossed to be quite good for you so I thought hey if cats can do it why can't little boys? The result as depicted by the pictures below......

Mummy was just thankful that I didn't wake up in the middle of the night barfing up the grass like Sassy did!

A Bicycle built for one

So yesterday was a really good day. I went to swimming lessons and listened really well and then afterwards mummy and I stayed to swim. I showed mummy how well I can jump into the water, how I can float on my tummy with my head in the water and I even showed her how i can swim underwater. Yup it was my first time where I actually swam by kicking my feet and arms and my head was under the water for a really long time. I think I'm getting really good at this swimming stuff.

After swimming we had a few errands to run cause this weekend is Easter so we went to get some flowers and such. I was pretty good in the flower store and mummy only had to threaten to leave me just once (I wanted to be a train on the tracks). Then mummy told me that we were going to look for a treat at another store, I got really excited but she wouldn't tell me what it was. On the way to the other store I fell asleep so when we got to where the treat was I was asleep and mummy had to carry me in. I only woke up when she said "Jacob wake up and try out these bikes to see which one fits you", and when I opened my eyes I was surrounded by lots of bikes. I tried 3 different sizes and the man said the bigger one was just the right size for me. I got to choose between a green bike and a red one and I picked the bright red one and then mummy let me pick a red "Cadana Flag" bell and some spoke balls.

I got to ride my new bike at Nona's house on the patio and impressed her and mummy with how well I can ride. My bike has 4 wheels and I can stop by pushing my pedals back. It's just like mummy and daddys bikes and mummy told me that when we go for rides that I can now pedal my own bike. I can't wait to hit the open trails!

Things that stop my parents dead!

So I have been known to shock and bewilder my parents but I also have the ability to amaze and challenge them. For example the other day while we were all outside, daddy helped me take a leak in the great outdoors. A little bit latter while my parents were busy I had to go to the bathroom again so I dropped my drawers and stood there (cause that's what boys can do). Well my parents look up to see me not peeing but pooping on the grass with the turds falling on the lawn and my pants and all they could do was laugh cause at least I didn't mess my pants.

Then this morning while driving with mummy she mentions (under her breath) about people who don't have enough brains to walk single file on the road and make the cars drive on blind corners to go around them. Of course what I thought she was talking about was the "idiot driver" in front of us. So I told her to catch up to the idiot driver so we could shoot her and she could get a flat. Now mummy was already a bit miffed at my behaviour at the pool this morning so she didn't bother to comment or correct me.

So see there are days that I can make my parents scratch their heads and wonder if I am an alien sent here to earth to drive them to drink!
