So really the whole excursion to Squamish was to see Thomas the train and on Saturday we got the chance to visit the cheeky little engine.
It was a hot day and there was lots to see and do but I managed to do most of it.
When we got there we were a little concerned that my cousin Craig wouldn't be able to get in as his ticket was for wheelchair admission but we had no problems and we soon found our way in to see all the train exhibits set up to see and play with. I really liked playing with all the trains {not too fond of having to share any of them though:( } and i also enjoyed seeing all the minature trains set up.
When it was our turn to take a ride on Thomas we loaded the hot car and I entertained the fellow behind me with my Thomas whistle though I'm not sure he was as fond of my musical talent as I was.
I'm also not too sure if my cousin Craig enjoyed his day out with Thomas as
much as I did, daddy did though (especially the little donuts)!
We ended our fun day with a trip to see the controllor of the trains of Sodor - Sir Topham Hatt. And to prove that he really isn't that stern, I gave him a goodbye hug!
